25 Uplifting Bible Verses for Bad Days
If you’ve been living on earth for more than a week, you’ve had some bad days.
God never promised that we’d never had a bad day—Jesus promised us the exact opposite. He said that we would encounter troubles throughout our life on earth. No one is exempt from the disappointments and difficulties of life.
Even the richest, most powerful people in the world, who could have anything and everything their heart desires, have some bad days.
I’ve found that the best thing to do is go to God. When I’m frustrated, disappointed, sad, or hopeless, I can turn to God. One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 18:10. It tells me that the Lord is a strong tower, a place I can run to and find safety and comfort.
God is an ever-present help in our time of need, and He wants to bring you comfort, peace, and joy. God is not the Great Preventer of bad days. Rather, He is the Great Healer, Comforter, Redeemer, and Encourager. When you turn to Him, your bad day doesn’t immediately turn around, but it doesn’t turn into a bad month or a bad year.
Whatever you’re dealing with today, I hope these Bible verses give you some extra faith and hope:
