23 Bible Verses For When You’re Feeling Unworthy
One of the things I struggled with most when I first became a Christian was feelings of unworthiness. It seemed impossible that God would love me and have any interest in me. I was focused on the mistakes I made, and the fact that I hadn’t done anything significant.
I believed that God’s love was based on my performance, and my performance was subpar at best.
When you’re feeling unworthy, the best thing you can do is remind yourself of God’s truth. The thoughts and feelings that I’m worthless and will never amount to anything still show up in my mind. In response, I need to remind myself of the truth. I need to read scripture and meditate on God’s word to renew and rewire my mind.
Spend time reading these Bible verses about feeling unworthy. Save them, meditate on them, write them on your mirror, make one of them your phone background.
