19 Bible Verses About Being Christ Like

One of the reasons Jesus came to earth was to give us an example. His teaching and ministry was in part to show us the proper path to walk in life.

Jesus not only gives us the perfect example, but He transforms our heart and identity. When we accept Jesus and choose to follow Him, He gives us a new identity in Christ.

God created humanity in His image, which was fractured through sin, and restored through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Here are 19 of my favorite Bible verses about becoming more Christ-like.

“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
