15 Aimee Semple McPherson Quotes

Aimee Elizabeth Semple McPherson (1890–1944), also known as Sister Aimee or Sister, was a Canadian Pentecostal evangelist and media celebrity in the 1920s and 1930s. Aimee helped found Foursquare Church, and held healing revival meetings with thousands of people.

In 1922, Aimee McPherson explained her vision of “Foursquare Gospel” in a sermon in Oakland, California. She wanted to focus on the 4 aspects of the ministry of Jesus; Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Ghost, Healer, and King.
