Ice Land to Green Land

The other day God gave me a vision when I was praying for someone that I believe is for more people. I saw a vision of a beautiful, lush green field. It was one of the clearest visions I’ve seen. The whole scene was a wide open, as far as I could see. The green I saw was perfect, there wasn’t one part that looked better. The grass wasn’t greener on the other side. Everything was healthy, flourishing, full of life.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters.

Psalm 23:1-2

That’s the first verse that came to mind. God’s desire is for Him to be our lead, for us to be completely fulfilled, and to lead us into His goodness.

The next scene was an ice land. Not to be confused with Iceland, which has beautiful green pastures, like the first picture. What I saw here was a barren desert of ice. There was no trees, no color, no life. Everything was dead and frozen. I had a strong feeling of hopelessness. There was no direction. Everywhere I looked was exactly the same, and it wasn’t good. This was the exact opposite of the first picture, where everything was so alive.

God said “I’m bringing you from the ice land to Iceland.

God is taking you from a barren desert of ice to the beautiful green pastures.

He is restoring and resurrecting.

He is bringing life where there was death.

He is bringing color to what’s been dull.

He is bringing His Presence, a river of living water, to what’s been frozen and unmoving.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven

Ecclesiastes 3:1

The winter season in your life is ending (even though winter is about to begin here in the physical). I see God bringing all kinds of new life into your world!

Jesus came to bring life, and life abundantly, He said I am the resurrection and the life (John 10:10, John 11:25).

I believe today that if you have been experiencing the winter season God is melting away the snow and using it to water the lush green pasture that He is preparing for you.
